Meanwhile, Republicans are inching towards taking control of the House of Representatives as races across the country hang in the balance.

Some of the races remain too close to call or are waiting for a full tally before Americans know who will control the House.

Wyoming has come out as the most-pro Donald Trump state in the US following the election with voters there previously booting RINO congresswoman Liz Cheney.

The president-elect commanded a staggering 72.3 percent of the vote in the Cowboy State as of 9:50am on Thursday.

He is projected to win according to the Associated Press which reports that 99 percent of the count had been returned.

The support surpassed the high levels seen even in 2020 when Trump received almost 70 percent of votes.

With at least 192,576 votes, the Republican won in all but one of Wyoming’s 23 counties. Teton County, which includes the A-List town of Jackson, voted overwhelmingly for Kamala Harris.

Whoopi Goldberg still refuses to say Trump’s name despite election victory

Whoopi Goldberg is still refusing to say Donald Trump’s name despite hisistoric election victory, which her co-host has blamed on ‘uneducated white women’.

Goldberg, 68, has refused to say Trump’s name on The View since he first took office in 2016 and made clear on the talk show yesterday ‘that’s not going to change’.

Discussing the election results with her co-hosts, Goldberg expressed her disappointment that ‘people didn’t come out’ to vote for Kamala Harris.

Insiders say Melania Trump could be the first ‘part-time First Lady’

As Donald Trump stood before a raucous crowd of supporters on Tuesday night, basking in his thumping election victory and thanking his family and campaign staff, one of his tributes sent eyebrows twitching.

‘I want to also thank my beautiful wife, Melania,’ he crooned. ‘Who has the number one best-selling book in the country. Can you believe that?’

With the MAGA masses erupting into cheers, the ever-poised Melania, dressed in a perfectly tailored Dior skirt-suit, flashed a modest smile and waved.

Trump even beat Kamala in her VP pick Tim Walz’s home district

Boosting the notion that either Tim Walz was a bad pick as running mate for Kamala Harris or that running mates just don’t matter in presidential elections – the Minnesota governor’s home district was won by Republican President-elect Donald Trump.

Trump won Minnesota’s rural Blue Earth County by a margin of 49.6 percent to 48.3 percent over Harris, marking a swing of 5.7 percent from four years ago.

That despite Walz having lived there for two decades and launching his political career in the area, the National Review noted Thursday.

He flipped Minny’s 1st Congressional District – which includes the county – in 2006 and served as its congressman for 12 years. But he shifted from a moderate Democrat to progressive governor, and that likely didn’t play well in the rural area where his homespun nature is more commonplace.

After a contentious campaign focused on key battleground states, the Republican presidential nominee, former U.S. President Donald Trump was projected to secure the majority of electoral votes, giving him a second term as U.S. President. Nigel Farage – Barron played ‘big part’ in Trump’s victory

The youngest son of the returning president has not appeared regularly by his father’s side at his rallies across the country.

But instead he has played a behind-the-scenes role in getting former President Donald Trump to appear on podcasts favored by Gen Z and millennial men, ABC News reports.

Democrat Dina Titus re-elected to House

Former House Speaker Kevin McCarthy has ruled himself out of the running to be Donald Trump’s White House Chief of Staff.

The Republican was touted as a favorite to take the job as speculation mounted in the run-up to the election.

But he quashed the rumors in an interview with the Guy Benson show on Thursday.

‘People always ask if I’m going to be chief of staff, no I’m not going to be…that’s a no,’ he said.

He added that Trump’s campaign manager Susie Wiles would be ‘great’ in the position.

Democrat Val Hoyle re-elected to House

AOC breaks her silence on Trump’s election victory

Congresswoman Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez is warning that the United States may be entering an era of ‘fascism and authoritarianism’ as the country prepares for President-elect Donald Trump to return to power.

The 35-year-old liberal New York congresswoman hopped on Instagram Wednesday to speak with her followers about the election results where she painted an extremely bleak picture for the country’s future.

The ‘Squad’ member said the U.S. is entering a political period that will have consequences ‘for the rest of our lives.’

‘We find ourselves I believe in a time where there are lets say peers in history of massive movements of people that mobilize to protect one another in times of fascism and authoritarianism. And this is the era that we are poised to enter,’ AOC said.

Biden blows kiss as he urges supporters to ‘keep the faith’

The President’s address has now ended in what was a short message to the nation.

He concluded his press conference with a kiss to the crowd and a message to supporters not to give up.

We’re going to be okay, but we need to stay engaged. We need to keep the faith. God bless you all and America.

Biden vows peaceful transfer of power

President Biden said there would be a peaceful transfer of power and reiterated he had reached out to Donald Trump following his victory.

He said he will do his duty for the remaining 74 days of his term.

We’re leaving behind the strongest economy in the world. Now we have 74 days to finish the term, our term, let’s make every day count”, he says, and adds that this is their responsibility as government.

Set backs are unavoidable but giving up is unforgivable.

Joe Biden – ‘You can’t love your country only when you win’

Joe Biden has described Donald Trump’s election win as a victory for some and a loss to others.

A country chooses one or the other. We accept the choice the country makes.

You can’t love your country only when you win. You can’t love your neighbour only when you agree.

Biden’s shock olive branch to Trump

(FILES) US President Joe Biden holds a bilateral meeting with Cypriot President Nikos Christodoulides (out of frame) in the Oval Office of the White House in Washington, DC, on October 30, 2024. Joe Biden hoped Kamala Harris would salvage his legacy as the man who saved America from Donald Trump. Instead, it lies in tatters. Had Harris won, the rows over his age and refusal to bow out earlier would have been forgiven by the Democratic Party. Biden would have been able to celebrate a list of achievements in his one term that included guiding the country out of the Covid crisis, passing historic legislation, building infrastructure and promoting green energy. The 81-year-old commander-in-chief extended the olive branch to the president-elect a week after calling his supporters ‘garbage’ and hours after he was confirmed as his successor.

The White House confirmed Biden and Trump spoke on the phone on Wednesday afternoon and ’emphasized the importance of working to bring the country together’ as well as a ‘smooth transition’.

It was a similar tone Kamala Harris took when she called the 78-year-old to finally concede the election after Trump swept the majority of the swing states.

Trump and Biden frequently exchanged very personal jabs during the campaign, with the Republican targeting the president’s decline and the Democrat saying he was the sort of person he would like to ‘smack in the a**’.

We’re expecting to hear from the President imminently.

Another said: ‘Im calling it now, first women president will be Ivanka Trump in 2028’.

While a man added: ‘kamala was as thick as mince. Ivanka Trump could win it’.

Arizona and Nevada still aren’t called for Trump

Katelyn Caralle, Senior U.S. Political Reporter in Las Vegas, Nevada

Presidential election results are still unknown in the western swing states of Nevada and Arizona.

The Associated Press has still not called the race one way or the other as of Thursday morning – though it doesn’t matter since Trump has more than enough Electoral College votes to take a victory without the two states.

With 90 percent of the vote counted in Nevada, Trump is ahead of Vice President Kamala Harris by 3.8 percent.

And with 69 percent tabulated in Arizona, Trump leads by 5.5 percent.

With the other 48 states already counted, Trump has won the 2024 election with 295 Electoral College votes so far.

Pollster J. Ann Selzer breaks silence on Iowa prediction

Iowa pollster says she has evidence that proves bombshell survey showing Kamala Harris in the leadIowa pollster Ann Selzer

J. Ann Selzer, a famed pollster previously known for her accurate predictions in Iowa, told the Des Moines Register on Tuesday she was ‘thinking about how we got where we are.’

‘The poll findings we produced for The Des Moines Register and Mediacom did not match what the Iowa electorate ultimately decided in the voting booth today,’ she said.

‘I’ll be reviewing data from multiple sources with hopes of learning why that happened, and I welcome what that process might teach me.’

Selzer’s poll for the Register and Mediacom days before the election predicted Harris would win by +3 percentage points.

But Donald Trump went on to trounce the vice president by over +13 points in the Hawkeye State.

Democrats round on George Clooney after Trump’s election victory

Devastated Democrats have rounded on George Clooney after the actor demanded that Joe Biden quit before Donald Trump’s election victory.

A furious blame game has erupted in the wake of Trump’s emphatic win over rival Kamala Harris, with lifelong Democrat Clooney being especially criticised for his influence during the election.

The Ocean’s Eleven actor, 63, notably penned an op-ed for the New York Times in July where he called on Biden, 81, to abandon his presidential campaign, writing: ‘We are not going to win in November with this president.’

Exclusive:How Trump learned the lessons of election defeat

Donald Trump’s campaign pollster said there was one key difference between the candidate who lost in 2020 and who won in 2024: He had tasted the bitterness of defeat and was prepared to do whatever necessary to retake the White House.

So when John McLaughlin and key campaign figures developed a strategy to cut off the four demographic pillars supporting Democrats, he was listening.

‘Trump, is still Trump, but if you told him something you know that he needed to do to win he was gonna do it,’ McLaughlin told DailyMail.com.

Watch: Kamala Harris’ teary-eyed concession speech

A devastated Kamala Harris told her scores of tearful fans to keep fighting as she conceded election defeat to Donald Trump in Washington, D.C.

The emotional vice president admitted ‘this is not what we wanted’ as she took the stage at Howard University, almost 12 hours after the race was officially called for the former president.

Harris, however, also vowed to help with the peaceful transfer of power even as she said she would continue the battle after Trump’s dominant victory.

Who lame-duck Joe Biden blames for Kamala’s catastrophic defeat

The people surrounding Joe Biden blame Nancy Pelosi for Kamala Harris’ election loss as Democrats have begun to bicker over who caused the party’s disaster.

It came as the president, 82, reacted to Harris’ concession speech at Howard University Wednesday.

The blame game went into overdrive last night, as Biden confidantes told senior White House reporters they hold the former Speaker of the House responsible for him being pushed out of the race.

What Trump could do with a Republican clean sweep

Republican presidential nominee former President Donald Trump smiles at an election night watch party at the Palm Beach Convention Center, Wednesday, Nov. 6, 2024, in West Palm Beach, Fla. (AP Photo/Evan Vucci)

If Republicans win back the House, they would control the legislative, executive, and the judicial branches of the federal government fully during Trump’s first years in office, giving him sweeping control after he was voted out just four years ago.

Republicans may also take more robust action against transgender issues involving schools and sports, which Trump and the GOP have spoken about often on the campaign trails.

Already with control of the Senate Republicans will be able to dictate approvals of federal judges and cabinet positions like Secretary of State and Secretary of Defense.

If a Supreme Court vacancy arrises, the Senate handles that, too.

During Trump’s last presidency the Senate was controlled by the GOP, and the former president was able to help appoint three of the court’s nine sitting justices – which has had a major impact on the ideological slant of the body.

Republican supermajority could soon sweep Washington

Though Republicans have been named the winners of the White House and Senate, some races in the House of Representatives may take days if not weeks to call.

The GOP also gained control over the Senate after flipping multiple seats red, with some races still yet to be finalized and pick-up opportunities still on the table.

Republicans now need to maintain control over the House to have a full supermajority in Washington, D.C., which would have major consequences for Democrats.
